Role Description

The Cafe Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, responsible for providing courteous and efficient service in the hospital’s cafe. On a day-to-day basis, the role involves preparing and serving food and beverages according to established standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service and seating areas, and ensuring all items are properly stocked and displayed. The Cafe Attendant greets guests, takes orders, handles payments, and addresses questions or concerns in a professional and friendly manner. This role also supports basic food safety and hygiene practices, collaborates with team members to ensure smooth operations, and contributes to a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with the hospital’s high-end patient experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Food Preparation and basic Food & Beverage handling to support safe and efficient cafe operations.
• Candidates should possess skills in Food Service and Customer Service to provide a positive, timely, and courteous experience to guests.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and basic cash handling or POS systems is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a neat, professional appearance is required.
