Job summary

Al Marwan Group is seeking an experienced CAD Manager to lead drafting operations for roads and infrastructure projects in the UAE. The role will oversee CAD teams, ensure drawing quality, and coordinate with engineering, site, planning and QS teams to meet project standards.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering background, 10+ years in CAD/drafting, strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills, and a proven track record in supervising teams on large-scale infrastructure schemes in the UAE or GCC

Qualifications

• 10+ years of CAD/Drafting experience in roads and infrastructure.
• Experience managing CAD teams.
• Proven ability to review and coordinate drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise CAD draftsmen and drafting activities
• Prepare and review road, utility, drainage, and infrastructure drawings
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and CAD standards
• Coordinate drawings with engineering, site, planning, and QS teams
• Review consultant/client comments and ensure timely revisions
• Manage drawing registers, revisions, submissions, and approvals
• Prepare and review as-built drawings
• Maintain CAD standards, templates, and drawing procedures
• Provide technical guidance and support to the CAD team

• Prepare and review road, utility, drainage, and infrastructure drawings

• Coordinate drawings with engineering, site, planning, and QS teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Drafting, or related field
• 10+ years of CAD/Drafting experience, with strong exposure to roads and infrastructure projects
• Proven experience managing/supervising CAD teams
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong knowledge of road, utilities, drainage, and infrastructure drawings
• UAE roads & infrastructure experience is highly preferred
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage
