Iquest Management Consultants seeks an experienced 11KV/33KV Cable Jointer to perform jointing, termination, testing and fault rectification on medium-voltage networks in Dubai.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in 11KV/33KV, with substations, distribution panels and safe-working practices; DEWA certification is required. Willingness to rotate shifts and support 24/7 operations is expected.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate in Electrical from a recognized institute.
• DEWA-authorized Jointing Certificate mandatory.
• Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience in 11KV and 33KV cable jointing/termination.

Responsabilités

• Perform 11KV and 33KV cable jointing and termination works per approved procedures.
• Carry out testing, insulation, and connection of cable joints and terminations.
• Identify and rectify cable faults and support emergency fault restoration.
• Work in substations, distribution panels and MV installations.
• Ensure all jointing activities follow safety rules and permit-to-work procedures.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced 11KV 33KV Cable Jointer responsible for carrying out cable jointing termination testing maintenance and fault rectification activities on medium-voltage electrical distribution networks The candidate should have practical experience working with 11KV and 33KV cables substations distribution panels and electrical installations with strong knowledge of safety procedures

Key Responsibilities

Perform 11KV and 33KV cable jointing and termination works as per approved procedures and standards Carry out cable preparation jointing termination insulation and connection works Conduct testing and inspection of cable joints and terminations using appropriate modern test instruments Identify and rectify cable faults and support emergency fault restoration activities Work in electrical substations distribution panels and MV electrical installations Ensure all jointing and termination activities are completed safely and according to approved procedures Follow electrical safety rules permit-to-work procedures isolation LOTO requirements and site safety standards Maintain proper records of completed jointing termination testing and maintenance activities Prepare accurate field reports and communicate work status to supervisors engineers Coordinate with electrical maintenance and operations teams during planned and emergency works Be willing to work in rotational shifts including 24 7 operations

Qualifications

Trade Certificate in Electrical from a recognized institute.DEWA-authorized Jointing Certificate Mandatory.Minimum 3 5 years of practical experience in 11KV and 33KV cable jointing and termination .Hands-on experience in medium-voltage cable jointing, termination, testing, and fault rectification.Good knowledge of electrical installations, substations, and distribution panels.Familiarity with modern electrical testing instruments used for cable jointing and termination.Good understanding of electrical safety and safe working practices.Good field reporting and communication skills.Valid GCC Driving License Mandatory.Willingness to work rotational shifts and respond to emergency requirements.
