Elsewedy Electric UAE is seeking a QA professional with 3-5 years of experience in underground transmission projects to implement PQP, ITPs, and quality controls on site. You will conduct inspections, manage NCRs, and ensure documentation accuracy.

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, PQP, ITPs, and testing procedures is essential. Experience with 132/220 kV cable projects and client specs is highly valued.

Formación

• Must have QA experience on HV transmission projects.

• Strong ability to read IFC drawings and client specifications.

• Implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and approved Method Statements.
• Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and established quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Monitor cable laying, jointing, HDD, trenching, and related site activities.
• Perform and document DC Sheath Tests and Phasing Tests.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for identified quality deviations.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure of NCRs.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and support the implementation of corrective measures.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Support the implementation of audit findings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain quality logs, inspection reports, test records, certificates, and related documentation.
• Prepare and compile quality dossiers in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure accurate filing, traceability, and retention of all quality records.

You're a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering
• 3- 5 years' of technical experience in installation of underground transmission power line projects.
• Certified from TAQA UAE
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, PQP, ITPs, Method Statements, and NCR management.
• Solid experience in HV cable installation (132/220 kV), jointing, termination, and site inspections.
• Skilled in DC sheath testing, phasing tests, Hi-Pot/IR testing, and duct/HDD pressure tests.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, cable profiles, joint bay layouts, and client specifications (TRANSCO/ADDC/DEWA).
• Competent in preparing quality reports, test certificates, SPQR, and managing subcontractor compliance.
