Job Summary
The Cabin Cleaning Supervisor supervises Team Leaders and cabin cleaning teams across assigned shifts. The role is responsible for ensuring high-quality cabin appearance standards, efficient resource utilization, on-time turnaround performance, safety compliance and effective coordination with airline representatives and operational stakeholders.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Supervise Team Leaders and cabin cleaning teams to ensure efficient shift operations and service delivery.
- Manage manpower, equipment, and consumable allocation to meet operational requirements and turnaround targets.
- Monitor cleaning quality, productivity, and performance KPIs, taking corrective action when required.
- Lead disruption management, service recovery activities, and resolution of operational issues.
- Conduct quality reviews, investigate recurring service failures and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with airline representatives and internal stakeholders on operational priorities and service delivery.
- Prepare shift reports covering performance, resource utilization, incidents, and service outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, hygiene, chemical handling, and waste management standards.
- Coach and support Team Leaders to enhance team performance and operational effectiveness.

- Take ownership of managing disruptions or setbacks, facilitating prompt service recovery while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assessments to identify root causes of recurring issues and institute effective corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Serve as the primary liaison with airline officials and other operational teams to synchronize activities and lift matters requiring resolution.
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports detailing performance outcomes, resource consumption, incident logs, and any recommendations for process improvements.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations, security protocols, chemical usage guidelines, and environmental waste management standards.
- Provide continuous support and guidance to Team Leaders aimed at enhancing team dynamics, operational adherence, and overall service delivery efficiency.

- A minimum of three years’ professional experience in aircraft cleaning, cabin maintenance, airport ground operations, or relevant fields.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is required, demonstrating capability in managing personnel and operational workflows.
- Comprehensive understanding of aircraft cabin cleaning protocols, turnaround coordination, safety standards, and quality inspection procedures.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, public holidays, and demanding operational schedules to meet airline service requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Certificate or equivalent required; qualification in Aviation, Hospitality, Facilities Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft cabin cleaning, airport operations, or a similar operational environment.
- Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience in a shift-based operation.
- Experience managing teams within time-critical aircraft turnaround environments.
- Good understanding of cabin cleaning procedures, quality inspection standards, safety, hygiene and security requirements.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
