Sofitel Dubai The Palm, a luxurious 5-star beachfront resort on Palm Jumeirah, seeks a Butler Supervisor to lead the Butler team and deliver personalized guest experiences in line with our luxury standards.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality, ensuring every guest receives attentive service and seamless experiences throughout their stay.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Previous luxury hospitality experience, preferably in Butler services or Front Office.
• Minimum five-star hotel or luxury resort supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs with discretion.
• Fluent in English; French or Arabic an advantage.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and holidays.

• Supervise, guide, and support the Butler team to deliver personalised guest services.
• Coordinate VIP arrivals, departures, and in-room amenities.
• Maintain close communication with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Concierge.
• Monitor daily operations and uphold service standards.
• Provide regular briefings and on-the-job coaching.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety procedures.
• Assist in scheduling and performance monitoring.

Job Description

The Butler Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Butler team and ensuring the delivery of personalised, anticipatory, and exceptional guest experiences in line with Sofitel Dubai The Palm’s luxury standards. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality, ensuring every guest receives attentive and seamless service throughout their stay.

• Supervise, guide, and support the Butler team in delivering exceptional and personalised guest services.
• Ensure all guest requests, preferences, and special arrangements are handled promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate VIP arrivals, departures, special occasions, and personalised in-room amenities.
• Maintain close communication with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor daily Butler operations, room assignments, guest profiles, and service standards.
• Conduct regular briefings, coaching sessions, and on-the-job training to maintain service excellence.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, grooming guidelines, and health and safety procedures.
• Monitor the presentation, cleanliness, and readiness of guest rooms and Butler service areas in coordination with the relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate guest preference records and ensure confidentiality of guest information.
• Support the Butler Manager in team scheduling, performance monitoring, and operational planning.
• Promote Sofitel’s French art de vivre, Heartist culture, and commitment to creating memorable luxury experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in luxury hospitality, preferably in Butler services or Front Office operations.
• Previous supervisory experience in a five-star hotel or luxury resort is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.li>
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver personalised service with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages, particularly French or Arabic, are an advantage.
• Well-groomed, guest-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
