Job summary

Choithrams is seeking a butcher for our UAE stores. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in food retail/F&B as a butcher, with strong English communication. Arabic language is an advantage.

You will handle meat preparation, ensure hygiene, manage stock levels, and provide excellent customer service in-store. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, preparing cuts and products, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Achieve section sales targets.
• Prepare standard portions and cuts: trim, debone, ties, roast, mince, marinate; prepare meat products such as sausages, pies & burgers.
• Provide direct and indirect customer service to customers.
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, receiving, wastage and shrinkage.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation, and follow good preparation practices.
• Proper handling of tools and equipment.
• Any other store activity as assigned by the supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum 1-year experience in Food retail/ F&B in the role of a butcher.
• Good conversational/ communication skills in English language. Basic reading & writing in English is a must
• Arabic is an advantage
