Job summary

Al Tayer Insignia seeks a Business Transformation Officer to lead the SAP ERP programme across luxury retail functions. You will drive business readiness, governance and adoption, acting as the bridge between business, technology and operations to realise programme outcomes.

Reporting to the Programme Director and working with Group IT and vendors, you will shape future-state processes, align cross-functional teams and ensure benefits realisation in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes in retail or consumer-focused organisations.
• Strong SAP ERP transformation knowledge with adoption and benefits delivery.
• Experience operating at senior leadership/director level in complex programmes.

Job Description:

Lead the business transformation and change agenda for Al Tayer Insignias SAP ERP programme, driving business readiness and successful adoption across impacted retail functions.

Acting as a key link between business, technology, and operational teams, the Business Transformation Officer will drive business process transformation, programme governance and organisational readiness. This role requires an experienced transformation leader with strong SAP/ERP programme experience, a deep understanding of retail operations, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around common programme outcomes.

Responsibilities

Business Transformation & Change

• Drive business process transformation and SAP ERP adoption across impacted business functions.

• Drive and support the development of future-state business processes, ensuring business continuity and operational requirements are considered and form a foundational base for future project milestones.

• Drive the business change impacts with the change management partner, working with stakeholders to support the adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working.

• Ensure change activities remain aligned with overall programme objectives and business requirements.

Programme Delivery & Governance

• Own the business delivery plan and provide business oversight of programme scope, timelines, risks, dependencies and outcomes, working in partnership with the Programme Director, Group IT and implementation partner.

• Support programme governance and business reporting for Sponsor and senior leadership review.

• Present at and support relevant business decision-making forums, providing clear business guidance where required.

• Identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies, risks and issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Business Readiness

• Ensure business readiness across all impacted functions, including Finance, Planning, Merchandising, Store Operations, Supply Chain, Omnichannel, and Digital.

• Coordinate business readiness activities in preparation for programme deployment and go-live.

• Work closely with functional stakeholders to ensure business requirements, operational impacts and dependencies are understood and addressed.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

• Collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders, Group IT, implementation partners and vendors.

• Align business, technology and operational teams around common programme objectives and outcomes.

• Influence stakeholders and facilitate solutions to cross-functional challenges and programme dependencies.

Benefits & post-go-live

• Understand and drive agreed business benefits associated with the transformation.

• Support the business in realising agreed benefits and improvements following go-live.

Team & Resource Management

• Lead and manage Al Tayer Insignia team members allocated to the programme.

• Ensure programme resource and timesheet allocations are managed and tracked as agreed.

• Support accountability and effective collaboration across business allocated programme resources.

Qualifications

Experience

• Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation programmes within retail, omnichannel or a similarly complex consumer-focused organisation.

• Strong SAP ERP transformation experience, with a clear understanding of the business impact and adoption requirements associated with large-scale ERP implementation.

• Demonstrable experience driving business transformation and change within complex, cross-functional environments.

• Strong understanding of retail functional workstreams and how areas such as Finance, Planning, Merchandising, Store Operations, Supply Chain, Omnichannel and Digital interact.

• Experience working across business, technology, implementation partners and vendors to deliver transformation outcomes.

• Experience operating at senior leadership / Director level within a complex transformation programme environment.

• Experience in SAP transformation
