Job summary

Raw Earth is seeking an experienced former CEO or senior business leader to serve as an advisory partner to the founder. The role is voluntary in day-to-day operations but paid for advisory input, with flexibility to work around family and other commitments.

Expect one or two meetings weekly, with some in-person sessions in Dubai and the rest remote. The adviser will help prioritise ideas, shape business positioning, marketing and growth strategy, and provide candid feedback and accountability

Raw Earth is a growing adventure travel startup creating thoughtfully planned, small-group self-drive expeditions around the world. We combine the freedom of a road trip with carefully curated experiences and founder-led support, inviting people to slow down, connect and explore roads less taken.

As we grow, we are looking for an experienced professional who can bring perspective, practical guidance and accountability to the founder - our real-life Ben Whittaker from The Intern.

THE ROLE

• This is an advisory rather than day-to-day operational role. You will work closely with the founder.
• Meet once or twice a week to discuss progress, challenges and next steps.
• Help prioritise ideas and turn them into realistic, achievable plans.
• Advise on business positioning, marketing, partnerships, sales and growth.
• Review goals and provide honest, constructive feedback and accountability.
• Identify opportunities and make relevant introductions where appropriate.
• Help an early-stage business make smart decisions while working within its available resources.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We're looking for a former CEO, founder or senior business leader who is retired or semi-retired and would enjoy bringing their experience to an ambitious young business.

Someone with a strong foundation in business strategy and entrepreneurship, along with a good understanding of marketing, sales and growth, who can offer perspective, guidance and a trusted sounding board to the founder.

FLEXIBILITY & COMPENSATION

Approximately 3-5 hours per week, including one or two meetings arranged around mutual availability. The role offers flexibility to work around family and other commitments, with a mix of remote work and occasional meetings in Dubai.

This is a paid advisory role, with compensation based on experience and agreed scope. Visa sponsorship is not provided.
