Job summary

Brainstorm Marketing Management LLC is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager, FMCG, to drive growth with UAE and GCC FMCG clients. You will leverage strong market relationships to create opportunities and close deals across shopper marketing, activations, and OOH campaigns.

You will identify opportunities, pitch, negotiate and collaborate with leadership to deliver commercially strong solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of UAE experience in business development, client servicing or commercial roles within marketing sectors.
• Strong relationships across FMCG companies and with Marketing Directors, Brand Managers, Trade Marketing teams, Shopper Marketing teams and Procurement.
• Ability to turn relationships into meaningful commercial opportunities and close new business.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across FMCG clients in the UAE and GCC.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior brand and marketing decision makers.
• Create and manage a strong pipeline of briefs, RFQs and opportunities.
• Pitch BMM's capabilities across shopper marketing, retail activation, experiential campaigns, OOH, creative and production.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and pitch responses.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through negotiation and closure.
• Identify opportunities to grow newly acquired client relationships.
• Represent BMM at client meetings and industry events.

Brainstorm Marketing Management LLC is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, FMCG to join our growing team in Dubai.

BMM is a full stack brand visibility agency working across the GCC with regional and multinational brands on shopper marketing, retail activations, experiential campaigns, OOH, creative development and on ground execution.

We are looking for someone who understands the FMCG landscape, has strong relationships within the market and knows how to turn those relationships into meaningful commercial opportunities.

The role

• This is a new business focused role with responsibility for growing BMM's presence across FMCG clients in the UAE and wider GCC.
• You will be expected to identify opportunities, open doors with key decision makers, build a strong pipeline and take opportunities from first conversation through to brief, proposal, negotiation and closure.
• You will work closely with the leadership and internal teams to develop relevant, commercially strong solutions for prospective clients.

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years of relevant UAE experience across business development, client servicing or commercial roles within marketing, shopper marketing, brand activation, experiential, retail marketing, OOH or related agency environments.
• Strong existing relationships across FMCG companies, particularly with Marketing Directors, Brand Managers, Trade Marketing teams, Shopper Marketing teams and Procurement.
• A strong understanding of how FMCG brands operate across retail, shopper engagement and on ground activation.
• Confidence in presenting, pitching, negotiating and closing business.
• A proactive commercial mindset and the ability to create opportunities rather than rely on inbound leads.
• Experience working with multinational FMCG brands or regional client teams will be a strong advantage.
