Job summary

Future Tense - Human Resource Solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer / BDM / BDE for Electrical Cables & Accessories in the UAE. The role focuses on building a strong network among electrical traders, distributors and retailers, driving profitable sales and collections.

The candidate will manage key accounts, visit customers, generate inquiries and orders, and work cross-functionally with logistics and accounts to ensure order execution and target achievement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with electrical traders, distributors and key customers across the UAE.
• Generate new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.
• Promote and sell electrical cables and cable accessories, including cable glands, lugs, cable ties and related products.
• Regularly visit customers, understand their requirements and generate enquiries and orders.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales and gross-profit targets.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and identify new business opportunities.
• Take ownership of customer collections and outstanding payments.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain a healthy customer portfolio.
• Ensure sales are made within approved credit limits and payment terms.
• Coordinate with sales support, purchasing, logistics and accounts teams for smooth order execution.
• Monitor market prices, competitor activity and customer buying patterns.
• Provide regular reports on sales, collections, customer visits and market opportunities.

The Client is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Executive/Manager with 5-7 years of experience in the UAE electrical trading industry, particularly in electrical cables and cable accessories.

The ideal candidate should have a strong network among electrical traders, distributors and retail shops, a proven track record of generating profitable sales, and strong ownership of customer collections.
