Revolut Ltd in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Business Compliance Manager to join our fast-growing compliance team. In this hands-on role, you’ll translate complex VARA UAE regulations into practical, product-ready solutions for crypto features and consumer protection.

You’ll partner with Product, Tech and Growth to steer regulatory strategy, oversee crypto yield, DeFi and derivatives, review user communications, support new product approvals, and drive horizon-scanning and risk metrics

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance.
• Experience with VARA regulations and UAE federal laws.
• Understanding of how compliance risk interacts with business risk.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Tech, and Growth to advise on crypto regulations and consumer protections.
• Oversee yield, DeFi, and derivative products and relevant frameworks.
• Support new product approvals and launches for crypto features.
• Review and approve customer communications and marketing materials.
• Own post-launch product reviews and ensure regulatory decisions are clear and defensible.
• Translate evolving regulation into actionable, product-ready requirements.
• Conduct horizon-scanning and support BAU compliance activities including KRIs, BCIs, fair value indicators, and customer sentiment metrics.
• Enable the business by proposing pragmatic, compliant solutions that protect consumers while maintaining delivery velocity.

We’re looking for a Business Compliance Manager to act as a first-line crypto compliance partner. In this hands‑on role, you’ll have direct impact on how crypto features are launched, scaled, and communicated across markets, translating complex regulation into practical, product‑ready solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Partnering with Product, Tech, and Growth teams to advise on crypto and consumer regulations, including financial promotions, regulatory changes, and consumer protection requirements
• Overseeing yield, DeFi, and derivative products and relevant frameworks
• Supporting new product approvals and launches, and rollouts for crypto features
• Reviewing and approving customer communications and marketing materials
• Owning post‑launch product reviews and ensuring regulatory decisions are clear, documented, and defensible
• Translating evolving regulation into actionable, product‑ready requirements
• Conducting horizon‑scanning and supporting BAU compliance activities, including KRIs, BCIs, fair value indicators, and customer sentiment metrics
• Enabling the business by proposing pragmatic, compliant solutions that protect consumers while maintaining delivery velocity

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance
• Expertise in interpreting and applying regulations within a business context
• Experience in a top‑tier bank, investment firm, crypto exchange, fast‑growing technology company, or strategy consultancy
• Experience with VARA regulations and an understanding of UAE federal laws
• An excellent understanding of how compliance risk and business risk interact
• Highly adaptable skills to work in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment

Nice to have

• Experience in the crypto industry
• Knowledge of crypto‑native products and technical nuances
• An understanding of MiFID and similar directives
