Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience.
• Experience interpreting regulations in a business context.
• Experience with VARA regulations and UAE federal laws.
• Exposure to crypto exchanges or fintech environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise Product, Tech and Growth on crypto and consumer regulations.
• Oversee yield, DeFi, and derivative products regulatory frameworks.
• Support new product approvals and crypto feature launches.
• Review and approve customer communications and marketing materials.
• Own post-launch product reviews and ensure regulatory decisions are documented.

Our Compliance team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to manage conduct risk. We’re looking for a Business Compliance Manager to act as a first‑line crypto compliance partner. In this hands‑on role, you’ll have direct impact on how crypto features are launched, scaled, and communicated across markets, translating complex regulation into practical, product‑ready solutions. What You'll Be Doing

• Partnering with Product, Tech, and Growth teams to advise on crypto and consumer regulations, including financial promotions, regulatory changes, and consumer protection requirements
• Overseeing yield, DeFi, and derivative products and relevant frameworks
• Supporting new product approvals and launches, and rollouts for crypto features
• Reviewing and approving customer communications and marketing materials
• Owning post‑launch product reviews and ensuring regulatory decisions are clear, documented, and defensible
• Translating evolving regulation into actionable, product‑ready requirements
• Conducting horizon‑scanning and supporting BAU compliance activities, including KRIs, BCIs, fair value indicators, and customer sentiment metrics
• Enabling the business by proposing pragmatic, compliant solutions that protect consumers while maintaining delivery velocity

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance
• Expertise in interpreting and applying regulations within a business context
• Experience in a top‑tier bank, investment firm, crypto exchange, fast‑growing technology company, or strategy consultancy
• Experience with VARA regulations and an understanding of UAE federal laws
• An excellent understanding of how compliance risk and business risk interact
• Highly adaptable skills to work in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment

Nice to have

• Experience in the crypto industry
• Knowledge of crypto‑native products and technical nuances
• An understanding of MiFID and similar directives
