HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks an experienced Brownfield Planning & Control Engineer to manage brownfield, modification, upgrade and turnaround projects with strong Primavera P6 skills.

The role emphasizes baseline development, WBS creation, progress measurement, and critical path analysis in live plant environments, coordinating across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in Planning, Project Controls, Construction Planning, or Project Scheduling.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Proven experience in brownfield, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, EPC, shutdown, turnaround, or plant modification projects.
• Strong knowledge of brownfield execution methodologies and planning constraints associated with operating facilities.
• Experience developing and maintaining baseline schedules and integrated project programmes.
• Strong knowledge of WBS, CPM, critical path, resource loading, progress measurement, S-curves, look-ahead planning, schedule updating, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with delay analysis, recovery planning, schedule impact analysis, TIA, and EOT support.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Primavera P6, MS Project, and project reporting tools.
• Excellent coordination skills with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, operations, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, monitor, and update detailed Brownfield Project Schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare the Baseline Programme / Baseline Schedule in accordance with contract requirements, project scope, execution strategy, milestones, and client requirements.
• Develop project WBS, activity codes, calendars, logic links, relationships, constraints, milestones, and activity sequences.
• Prepare Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 schedules according to project requirements.
• Develop integrated schedules covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, pre-commissioning, shutdown, turnaround, tie-in, and handover activities.
• Prepare and maintain Master Schedule, Detailed Schedule, Integrated Project Schedule, Construction Schedule, Shutdown Schedule, Turnaround Schedule, Recovery Programme, Catch-Up Programme, and Look-Ahead Schedule
• Monitor actual progress against planned progress and baseline programme.
• Track schedule variance, progress variance, milestone slippage, critical activities, float, constraints, and forecast completion dates
