The candidate should be proficient in Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling, with hands-on experience in brownfield environments, EPC projects, and tie-ins. Strong coordination with operations, engineering, procurement, and construction is required.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in Primavera P6 project scheduling baseline programmes WBS critical path analysis progress measurement look‑ahead planning resource loading manpower planning S-curves earned value management delay analysis schedule control cost control forecasting and project reporting Experience working within operating plants existing facilities live plants brownfield environments shutdowns turnarounds SIMOPS tie‑ins plant modifications and EPC projects is highly preferred.
Develop maintain monitor and update detailed Brownfield Project Schedules using Primavera P6 Prepare the Baseline Programme Baseline Schedule in accordance with contract requirements project scope execution strategy milestones and client requirements Develop project WBS activity codes calendars logic links relationships constraints milestones and activity sequences Prepare Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 and Level 4 schedules according to project requirements Develop integrated schedules covering engineering procurement fabrication construction installation testing commissioning pre‑commissioning shutdown turnaround tie‑in and handover activities Prepare and maintain Master Schedule Detailed Schedule Integrated Project Schedule Construction Schedule Shutdown Schedule Turnaround Schedule Recovery Programme Catch‑Up Programme and Look‑Ahead Schedule Monitor actual progress against planned progress and baseline programme Track schedule variance progress variance milestone slippage critical activities float constraints and forecast completion dates Perform Critical Path Method CPM analysis and identify critical near‑critical and driving activities Monitor Total Float Free Float Negative Float Constraints Logic Relationships Milestones and Critical Path Update Primavera P6 schedules with actual start actual finish remaining duration physical progress activity status and forecast dates Collect progress data from Engineering Procurement Construction Fabrication Maintenance Shutdown Commissioning Vendors Subcontractors and Site Teams Establish appropriate progress measurement systems for engineering procurement fabrication construction installation testing and commissioning Develop progress weightages activity weightages quantity‑based progress milestone‑based including preparation execution reinstatement testing commissioning and start‑up activities Monitor tie‑in schedules isolation requirements permit‑to‑work activities work‑front readiness and shutdown milestones Coordinate with Construction Operations Maintenance HSE QA QC Engineering Procurement and Commissioning Teams to ensure schedule alignment Monitor SIMOPS Simultaneous Operations and identify schedule interfaces and execution conflicts Track interface activities between existing facilities new installations contractors subcontractors vendors and operations teams Monitor work‑front readiness and identify activities affected by drawings materials permits access scaffolding isolation equipment availability or site conditions Prepare constraint logs interface registers action trackers risk registers and schedule risk reports Develop recovery plans mitigation strategies acceleration programmes resequencing plans and catch‑up schedules for delayed activities Conduct schedule impact analysis and delay analysis for project delays disruptions variations access restrictions shutdown changes and late information Support Time Impact Analysis TIA Extension of Time EOT delay claims disruption claims and schedule‑related contractual submissions Maintain records of delay events change events variation orders client instructions RFIs technical queries approvals and project correspondence affecting the programme Coordinate with Commercial and Contracts Teams regarding variations claims EOT delays disruption and contractual milestones Review and monitor subcontractor schedules vendor schedules fabrication schedules and supplier delivery programmes Analyze subcontractor performance against approved baseline and recovery programmes Track procurement activities including MR PR RFQ PO vendor drawing approval manufacturing inspection FAT shipment delivery and site receipt Monitor engineering deliverables including IFC drawings shop drawings material approvals technical submittals RFIs TQs calculations specifications and design changes Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure long‑lead items critical materials equipment valves piping materials structural steel electrical equipment instrumentation and construction materials are available according to the schedule Monitor resource requirements including manpower equipment materials tools scaffolding cranes access and specialist resources Prepare Manpower Histograms Resource Loading Resource Forecasts Equipment Utilization Plans and Productivity Reports Monitor planned versus actual man‑hours manpower deployment productivity equipment utilization and work quantities Prepare productivity analysis and identify opportunities for productivity improvement and schedule recovery
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline. 5-10 years of experience in Planning, Project Controls, Construction Planning, or Project Scheduling. Strong hands‑on experience with Primavera P6 is mandatory. Proven experience in brownfield, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, industrial, EPC, shutdown, turnaround, or plant modification projects. Strong understanding of brownfield execution methodologies and planning constraints associated with operating facilities. Experience developing and maintaining baseline schedules and integrated project programmes. Strong knowledge of WBS, CPM, critical path, resource loading, progress measurement, S-curves, look‑ahead planning, schedule updating, forecasting, and variance analysis. Experience with delay analysis, recovery planning, schedule impact analysis, TIA, and EOT support is preferred. Strong knowledge of Excel, Primavera P6, MS Project, and project reporting tools. Excellent coordination skills with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, operations, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
