A leading sports management organization is seeking a Broadcast Manager to oversee matchday broadcast operations. The selected candidate will actively manage broadcasting logistics during major AFC events. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in sports broadcasting operations, and strong English and Arabic skills are essential. This is a freelance role with a focus on delivering high-quality sports broadcasts across Asia.

Asia Football Group (AFG) is the exclusive commercial agency for the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) competitions from 2023-2028. Our partnership with the AFC covers the commercial rights for all major AFC National Team and Club competitions, including the AFC Asian Cup, AFC Asian Qualifiers, AFC Women’s Asian Cup, AFC Women’s Olympic Qualifiers, AFC Champions League, AFC Cup as well as AFC youth and futsal competitions.

The Role
AFG is responsible for the operational delivery of AFC’s commercial rights (for Media Partners and Sponsors) at AFC matches, tournaments, and events. The AFG Broadcast Manager (BM) is the senior broadcast representative on venue and is responsible for overseeing all planning and matchday broadcast operations. The BM is the main AFG liaison on broadcast matters for the AFC and Host Organisation, as well as being the key point of contact for the Host Broadcaster, attending AFC Media Rights Holders, and the AFG Broadcast Technical Centre (BTC) located in Singapore.

Candidates should already be residing in any one of the following countries: Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

Key Responsibilities
MD-1 training, press conferences, dressing room filming, team bus arrivals, head coach interviews, unilateral stand-ups, post-match flash interviews and any other filming requests approved by AFG / AFC
