Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks an Associate - Bridges & Tunnels to lead design and delivery of major bridge and tunnel projects in the UAE and wider Middle East. The role requires technical leadership, client-facing engagement, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams within a Dubai-based design environment.

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in bridge and tunnel design, with UAE delivery experience and familiarity with RTA standards and approval processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Master's Degree in Structural/Bridge Engineering is preferred.
• Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in bridge and tunnel design.
• Experience delivering complex transportation infrastructure in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of bridges, tunnels, interchanges, and related structures.
• Act as Design Lead and Discipline Lead on major infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical direction and QA for calculations, reports, drawings, specs, and submissions.
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards and project requirements.
• Drive innovation, value engineering, and technical excellence.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
