Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks an Associate - Bridges & Tunnels to lead design delivery for major UAE projects. The role focuses on technical leadership, client liaison, and multidisciplinary team management across the Bridges & Tunnels practice.

Candidates should have a strong bridge/tunnel background and UAE project experience. Preference will be given to those with RTA approvals and a broad understanding of local standards and approval processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering with relevant licensing.
• Master's degree preferred in Structural Engineering/Bridge Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status highly desirable.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in bridge and tunnel design.
• Experience delivering complex transportation projects in consulting engineering.
• Experience with UAE projects and RTA approvals.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on bridges, tunnels, interchanges, and related structures.
• Lead design delivery from concept through construction support.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and staff; support recruitment and development.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
