Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a motivated Bridge Engineer for Al Ain, UAE, to support bridge project execution and maintenance. You will supervise site activities, monitor quality and safety, and coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with specifications and client requirements.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 2–3 years of UAE bridge experience, with willingness to travel to project sites and drive on site visits. Full-time, on-site position based in Al Ain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 2–3 years of bridge construction/maintenance experience in the UAE.
• Good understanding of bridge structures and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• UAE Driving License required; own vehicle for project travel.
• Willingness to work in Al Ain and travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of bridges.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with drawings/specifications.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Prepare site reports, inspection requests, progress updates and technical documentation.
• Support quality control and inspection activities related to bridge works.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Review construction drawings and identify potential issues.
• Assist in planning and scheduling project activities to meet deadlines.
• Participate in site inspections and client/consultant meetings as required.
• Provide technical support during construction and maintenance operations.
