Job summary

S Eight Transport & Logistics in Fujairah seeks an experienced operations professional to manage breakbulk and project cargo from vessel discharge to final delivery. You will coordinate with port authorities, shipping agents, transporters, equipment suppliers and clients to plan movements based on weight, dimensions and road/port restrictions.

Qualifications

• Proven UAE experience in breakbulk, project cargo, OOG, RoRo or heavy cargo operations.
• Practical experience with cranes, forklifts and port operations.
• Understanding of cargo dimensions, weights and trailer planning.
• Experience at Fujairah Port, Khalid Port, Hamriyah or Jebel Ali preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination with clients, drivers, port teams and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage breakbulk and project cargo operations from vessel discharge through final delivery.
• Coordinate with port authorities shipping agents transporters equipment suppliers stevedores and clients.
• Plan cargo movements based on weight dimensions trailer capacity and restrictions.
• Coordinate with flatbeds lowbeds cranes forklifts stevedores and other equipment.
• Monitor vessel discharge cargo loading transport offloading and yard operations.
• Handle oversized and OOG cargo movement requirements.
• Coordinate permits escorts vehicle access gate passes and approvals.
• Maintain tally records trip records timesheets and supporting documents.
• Communicate with clients and management about status delays requirements and risks.
• Identify issues early and take action to resolve them; ensure safe operations.
