Rafid in UAE seeks skilled Auto Body Repair Technicians to dismantle, repair, and reassemble accident-damaged vehicles in accordance with OEM standards. Senior staff may lead complex repairs and mentor juniors, while juniors support dismantling and basic panel work under supervision.

The role emphasizes safe handling of tools, adherence to OEM manuals, and strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality restorations.

Qualificações

• Trade certificate or equivalent in Auto Body Repair.
• Junior Level: 0-3 years bodyshop experience; fresh graduates with apprenticeship or internship may be considered.
• Senior Level: 8-12 years of professional bodyshop experience including complex repairs.
• Senior candidates must demonstrate panel replacement, structural alignment, chassis measuring, and approved welding processes.
• OEM bodyshop, I-CAR, welding certifications are highly preferred for Seniors.
• Multi-brand experience, particularly with European premium vehicles, is advantageous.
• GCC/UAE bodyshop experience preferred.
• Good English communication, attention to detail, and safety pride.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out accident-related body repair work, including dismantling, panel repair or replacement, dent removal, preparation, alignment, and reassembly.
• Use bodyshop tools and equipment safely: drills, grinders, sanders, dent pullers, welding equipment, chassis benches, measuring systems when qualified.
• Follow OEM repair manuals and approved methods, material identification, and corrosion-protection procedures.
• Check panel fitment, dimensional accuracy, repair quality, and readiness for the next repair stage.
• Identify supplementary damage and report findings to Supervisor, Estimator, or Service Advisor.
• Maintain work bays, tools, and PPE in line with 5S and HSE standards.
• Junior Technicians will support dismantling, basic panelwork, preparation, and reassembly under supervision.
• Senior Technicians will lead complex structural repairs, chassis straightening, panel sectioning, OEM-approved welding and bonding, aluminum repairs where certified, and mentoring juniors.

About the role

Therole covers vehicle dismantling and reassembly, panel repair, structuralrepair, welding, surface preparation, and restoration of accident-damagedvehicles to approved quality and OEM repair standards. The appointed level willdepend on experience, certification, and technical competence.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Trade Certificate, ITI, Vocational Diploma, orequivalent qualification in Auto Body Repair, Panel Beating, or CollisionRepair Technology.


• Junior Level: 0-3 years of bodyshop experience; freshgraduates with relevant apprenticeship or internship experience may beconsidered.


• Senior Level: 8-12 years of professional bodyshopexperience, including significant experience handling structural and complexaccident repairs.


• Senior candidates must demonstrate strong skills inpanel replacement, structural alignment, chassis measuring and pulling systems,and approved welding processes.


• Relevant OEM bodyshop, I-CAR, welding, STRSW, oraluminium-repair certifications are highly preferred for Senior candidates.


• Multi-brand experience, particularly with Europeanpremium vehicles, is an advantage for Senior candidates.


• GCC/UAE bodyshop experience is preferred.


• Basic English communication, strong attention to detail,commitment to safety, and pride in workmanship.
