Job summary

Rafid Automotive Solutions in the United Arab Emirates seeks full-time auto maintenance technicians to handle accident-damaged vehicles, including dismantling, panel repair, dent removal, preparation, alignment and reassembly to OEM standards.

The role's level depends on experience, certification and technical competence; juniors gain under supervision while seniors lead complex structural repairs, chassis work and welding. Basic English and UAE GCC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Trade Certificate or equivalent in Auto Body Repair, Panel Beating, or Collision Repair Technology.
Junior Level: 0-3 years bodyshop experience; fresh graduates with relevant apprenticeship or internship may be considered.
Senior Level: 8-12 years professional bodyshop experience, including structural and complex accident repairs.
Senior candidates must demonstrate skills in panel replacement, structural alignment, chassis measuring/pulling, and welding processes.
OEM bodyshop, I-CAR, welding, STRSW, aluminium repair certifications are highly preferred for Senior candidates.
Multi-brand experience, especially with European premium vehicles, is an advantage for Senior candidates.
GCC/UAE bodyshop experience is preferred.
Basic English communication, strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

Carry out accident-related body repair work, including dismantling, panel repair or replacement, dent removal, preparation, alignment, and vehicle reassembly.
Use bodyshop tools and equipment safely, including drills, grinders, sanders, dent pullers, welding equipment, chassis benches and measuring systems where qualified.
Follow OEM repair manuals, approved repair methods, material identification, and corrosion-protection procedures.
Check panel fitment, dimensional accuracy, repair quality, and readiness for the next repair stage.
Identify supplementary damage and report findings promptly to the Supervisor, Estimator, or Service Advisor.
Maintain work bays, tools, and PPE in line with 5S and HSE standards.
Junior Technicians will support dismantling, basic panelwork, preparation, and reassembly under supervision.
Senior Technicians will lead complex structural repairs, chassis straightening, panel sectioning, OEM-approved welding and bonding, aluminium repairs where certified, and mentoring of junior technicians.
