Qualifications

• Trade Certificate or equivalent in Automotive Mechanics.
• Junior: 0-3 years workshop experience; fresh graduates may apply.
• Mid-Level: 4-7 years hands-on experience in a dealership or multi-brand workshop.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems and safety practices.
• Mid-Level able to perform intermediate repairs with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance, vehicle inspections, and mechanical repair work across multiple vehicle brands.
• Repair and service brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, transmission, air-conditioning and related components.
• Use workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, repair manuals, and technical information to complete work accurately.
• Record work performed, parts used, and observations on the job card or DMS.
• Carry out road tests and quality checks; ensure vehicles meet workshop standards before handover.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work bays in accordance with 5S, HSE, PPE and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors, Job Controllers, Parts staff, and other technicians for timely delivery.
• Junior Technicians work under supervision; Mid-Level may guide juniors and handle more complex repairs.

About the role

The role involves carrying out vehicle maintenance, inspections, mechanical repairs, and diagnostic work in line with approved repair procedures, quality standards, and workshop safety requirements. The appointed level will be based on the candidate's qualifications, technical capability, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance, vehicle inspections, and mechanical repair work across multiple vehicle brands.
• Repair and service systems such as brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, transmission, air-conditioning, and related mechanical components according to the assigned level.
• Use workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, repair manuals, and technical information to complete work accurately and efficiently.
• Identify additional repair requirements and record all work performed, parts used, and observations on the job card or DMS.
• Carry out road tests and quality checks where authorized and ensure vehicles meet workshop standards before handover.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work bays in accordance with 5S, HSE, PPE, and workshop safety requirements.
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Job Controllers, Parts staff, and other technicians to support on-time vehicle delivery.
• Junior Technicians will work under supervision and support experienced technicians, while Mid-Level Technicians may guide junior team members and handle more complex repairs and intermediate diagnostic work.

Requirements

• Trade Certificate, ITI, Vocational Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Automotive Mechanics or Motor Vehicle Technology.
• Junior Level: 0-3 years of workshop experience; fresh graduates with relevant internship or apprenticeship experience may be considered.
• Mid-Level: 4-7 years of hands‑on mechanical technician experience in a dealership or established multi‑brand workshop.
• Working knowledge of vehicle systems, workshop tools, repair procedures, and safety practices appropriate to the applied level.
• Mid‑Level candidates should be able to perform intermediate repairs and use common diagnostic scan tools with limited supervision.
• Multi‑brand and GCC/UAE workshop experience is an advantage.
• Valid UAE/GCC driving licence is preferred.
• Basic English communication, teamwork, attention to quality, and willingness to undertake continuous technical training.
