Job summary

BG Global is seeking an experienced Bobst 160 Operator to manage and operate Bobst Flat Die machines at a high-volume Abu Dhabi production facility. The role requires leading machine crews, ensuring quality during die cutting, and coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Bobst die-cutting experience, strong fault-finding skills, and familiarity with autonomous and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating Bobst Flat Die machines or similar.
• Strong technical knowledge of flat die preparation and troubleshooting.
• Proven leadership experience managing machine operators/helpers.
• Understanding of autonomous and preventive maintenance processes.
• Computer literacy; experience with shopfloor ERP systems is an advantage.
• Diploma in Engineering, Printing Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Bobst Flat Die machines efficiently.
• Ensure quality compliance during die cutting operations.
• Lead and supervise machine crew to achieve production targets.
• Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Implement autonomous and preventive maintenance practices.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams.
• Work with pre-feeders, palletizers, and automatic strapping systems when required.
