Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Technology, Metal Fabrication, or Welding Processes.
• Two years of relevant experience or equivalent practical experience.
• Reading and understanding manufacturing drawings and schematics.
• Experience in manual grinding operations.
• Knowledge of Quality and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG/MIG welding, hard facing, brazing, and other metal welding processes.
• Read and follow technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Assemble components according to engineering drawings and established procedures.
• Set up and adjust equipment to ensure proper alignment of parts.
• Lift, position, and secure workpieces safely during welding operations.
• Ensure welding setups are approved by the senior operator or supervisor before production.
• Use standard measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
• Perform required manual grinding and hot-work activities.
• Carry out operator-level machine maintenance and daily workplace cleaning.
• Comply with all NOV Quality, HSE, and operational requirements.
• Support other operations, shifts, or weekend work when required
