Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Specialist to oversee maintenance and performance of hair transplant, dermatology, laser, PRP and aesthetic devices in a Dubai clinic.

You will coordinate with suppliers, manage service contracts, and ensure DHA compliance, licensing support, and staff training on equipment handling. A Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and 3-5 years of hospital or clinic experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in hospitals, aesthetic clinics, or hair transplant centers.
• Knowledge of medical equipment procurement and vendor management.
• Familiarity with DHA healthcare regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Biomedical Technical Support: oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all medical equipment, ensuring proper function of beauty devices.
• Coordinate repairs with suppliers and maintain calibration service records and warranty documentation.
• Procurement: manage vendor relationships, obtain quotations, evaluate specifications, and monitor spare parts inventory.
• Quality/compliance: support DHA regulations, clinic licensing inspections, and asset maintenance schedules; train staff on equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Biomedical Technical Support: Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of all medical equipment. Ensure proper functioning of hair transplant, dermatology, laser, PRP and aesthetic devices. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with suppliers. Maintain equipment calibration service records and warranty documentation. Conduct routine safety and performance checks.
• Procurement: Vendor Management. Participate in sourcing and procurement of medical equipment, devices, instruments and consumables. Obtain quotations, evaluate technical specifications and recommend suitable vendors. Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning and acceptance testing. Manage service contracts, annual maintenance agreements (AMC) and vendor relationships. Monitor inventory levels of biomedical spare parts and accessories.
• Compliance: Quality. Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and healthcare standards. Support clinic licensing inspections and accreditation requirements. Prepare technical reports, asset registers and maintenance schedules. Train clinical staff on proper equipment usage and handling.
