Our client is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM implementation and information management across major architectural and engineering projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent coordination and leadership skills, and extensive experience managing BIM processes on large-scale, complex developments, particularly luxury hotels, high-rise commercial developments, and high-rise residential projects.
You will work closely with project teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure BIM standards, information requirements and coordination processes are effectively implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee BIM implementation in accordance with project information requirements and industry standards, including ISO 19650 and relevant international standards.
- Ensure the project's Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and Asset Information Requirements (AIR) are properly implemented and followed by contractors and subcontractors.
- Review and assess the Contractor's BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and monitor compliance throughout the project.
- Support the configuration and management of the project's Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Develop and implement BIM dashboards to monitor BIM performance, deliverables and project progress.
- Lead regular BIM coordination meetings with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Oversee clash detection, coordination and resolution, ensuring construction conflicts are identified and resolved before impacting project cost or schedule.
- Facilitate BIM workshops and knowledge‑sharing sessions with project teams.
- Conduct regular BIM assessments to evaluate implementation, compliance and project BIM maturity.
- Review and validate as-built models against actual site conditions and ensure compliance with AIR requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on BIM workflows, standards and best practices.
- Support the continuous improvement and adoption of digital construction and BIM technologies.
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
- Advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage.
- Strong knowledge of BIM information exchange and information management.
- Extensive experience in model auditing and quality control.
- Advanced knowledge of Revit and Navisworks, including creating search sets, clash detection, coordination and clash reporting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD/BIM software.
- Experience with BIM-related software and integrations with Revit.
- Extensive experience with BIM 360 Design / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Ability to conduct and present client/project walkthroughs.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in BIM, architecture or engineering, with a strong portfolio demonstrating advanced technical and project delivery capabilities.
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager / BIM Lead on large-scale, complex projects.
- Strong experience delivering luxury hotel/hospitality, high-rise commercial and high-rise residential projects is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering.
- Registered Architect or Professional Engineer preferred/required as applicable.
- Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary BIM teams.
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
