LACASA Architects and Engineering Consultants seeks a senior BIM Lead to guide design development BIM delivery for architecture projects in the UAE. You will implement the BIM Execution Plan, oversee model federation, and verify compliance with standards across all disciplines.

Leading and mentoring BIM teams, you will coordinate architecture, structure, MEP and interior models, drive digital workflows, and report progress and risks to management.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 7–10 years BIM experience in architecture or multidisciplinary delivery.
• 3–5 years leading BIM teams and BEP delivery in UAE/GCC is a plus.

• Lead BIM delivery during the design development stages for architecture projects.
• Implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and agreed model federation strategy, and report deviations and proposed changes.
• Set up project models per the federation strategy (model structure, origin and coordinates, naming, worksets) and verify that all disciplines follow it.
• Contribute project-level inputs to the MIDP/TIDP and information requirements and keep task information delivery plans current.
• Enforce BIM standards, modeling protocols, and QA/QC procedures. Run scheduled model audits and health checks.
• Run the detailed coordination process across Architecture, Structure, MEP, and Interior Design models, including clash priorities, ownership, and closure deadlines. Review clash reports prepared by BIM Coordinators and escalated unresolved issues.
• Chair interdisciplinary detailed coordination meetings with design teams.
• Advanced knowledge for the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Forma): folder structure, workflows, and information exchange and submission procedures.
• Verify that model deliverables meet project specifications, client BIM requirements, and authority submission needs.
• Track BIM deliverables, milestones, and quality across all ongoing projects. Report progress and risks to the management.
• Lead, mentor, and train BIM project architects and BIM Modelers, and review their output.
• Implement and improve digital workflows, including automation and rule-based model validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of BIM experience in architecture or multidisciplinary delivery, including 3-5 years leading BIM teams and BIM delivery experience in UAE and in the GCC is plus advantage.
• Proven experience delivering projects (LOD 300-350) with multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience preparing BIM models for authority permit submission (Dubai Municipality / Build in Dubai), including IFC deliverables.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Forma.
• Hands-on ISO 19650 delivery experience: BEP implementation, TIDPs, information requirements, and CDE workflow.
• Experience delivering to a defined federation strategy and BEP.
• Experience leading and support BIM architects and modelers across multiple ongoing projects.
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Rhino is plus advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, or mixed-use developments
• Solid experience implementing the BIM requirements and information deliverables of high-end developers
• Experience with Dynamo, Python, APIs for automation and rule-based validation
• ISO 19650 certification or another recognized BIM certification.
