Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Dubai is looking for a BIM CAD Technician to support storm water drainage and wet utilities projects. This role involves BIM and CAD drafting, ensuring compliance with project standards, and developing engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of MEA or UAE CAD drafting experience in wet utilities projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and lifecycle delivery.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure compliance with project BIM and CAD standards.
• Develop engineering drawings including layouts and assemblies from sketches.
• Manage BIM-related activities from project startup through completion.
• Review drawings for readability and adherence to QA and QC standards.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and prepare clash reports.

Skills

Proficiency in MicroStation

Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Good knowledge of BIM standards

Good communication skills in English

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
