Job summary

Black Pearl Consult is seeking an experienced Safety Inspector to support HSE compliance on major infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role focuses on monitoring on-site safety practices and adherence to standards, conducting inspections, and assisting in implementing safety programs to minimize risks.

Key responsibilities include inspections, audits, reviewing Site Safety Plans and Risk Assessments, reporting hazards, and coordinating toolbox talks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience with roads, bridges, or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality, RTA, and UAE safety regulations.
• Familiarity with HSE inspection procedures and risk assessments.
• Strong communication and coordination with contractors and site staff.
• Ability to identify hazards and propose corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, corporate HSE policies, and client requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across construction sites.
• Review and verify safety-related documentation, including Site Safety Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Emergency Plans.
• Identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and conditions, and report findings with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Assist in organizing safety meetings and toolbox talks for project teams and contractors.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and safety observations.
• Ensure contractors and site personnel follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Support the preparation of incident reports and follow-up on corrective measures.
• Promote a culture of safety among all on-site personnel.
