Job summary

Dicetekuae in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled BI Engineer to support BI, data engineering, analytics, and enterprise reporting initiatives. The role requires 3–6 years hands-on experience in BI/ Data Engineering, with strong SQL, relational databases, data modelling, and visualization platform expertise.

You will develop dashboards, KPIs, and analytical datasets from enterprise sources, build ETL/ELT pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, BI Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT and Data Warehousing.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies is preferred.
• Power Query and DAX experience is preferred for Power BI-focused roles.
• Basic Python knowledge for data processing or automation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BI and data engineering solutions.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for relational databases.
• Design and maintain data models using Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Develop dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytical datasets.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Support enterprise data warehousing initiatives.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise sources.
• Perform data validation and quality checks.
