Job summary

Dicetek LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting, analytics, and data visualization solutions. This role requires expertise in SQL, data warehousing, BI platforms, and cloud-based data ecosystems to transform complex data into actionable insights.

As a BI Engineer, you will work with stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and reporting teams to design analytical datasets, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Data Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years in BI, data engineering, or related roles.
• Strong SQL with experience in relational databases.
• Hands-on BI tool experience (Power BI and/or Tableau).
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with star/snowflake schema data modeling.
• Experience with SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL or similar.
• Ability to deliver dashboards, KPIs, and analytics solutions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions and dashboards.
• Create interactive reports using Power BI and Tableau.
• Build analytical datasets, KPIs, and executive dashboards.
• Design data models using Star/Snowflake schemas.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and procedures.
• Support ETL/ELT, data integration, and data transformation.
• Validate data quality and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Support enterprise data warehouse development and maintenance.
• Monitor BI performance and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Contribute to cloud-based analytics and data platforms.
• Maintain documentation and reporting standards.
