Job summary

Ghobash Group in Dubai seeks a senior BFSI Head to lead strategic growth and profitability of a dedicated business unit. You will set objectives, drive execution, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

The role requires a decade of BFSI experience, strong leadership, and a track record of results. You will oversee product development, risk management, and stakeholder relationships while guiding market analysis and KPI-driven performance.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in the BFSI sector with a track record of leadership and results
• Bachelor's degree in finance or Business Administration (or related field)
• Masters degree is desirable
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in regulatory compliance and risk management
• Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
• Leadership and team management skills

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business unit strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
• Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of the business unit including budgeting forecasting and achieving revenue and profit targets.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of managers and professionals fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team's productivity and development.
• Product and Service Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of financial products and services offered by the business unit ensuring they meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management: Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate operational financial and compliance risks within the business unit.
• Compliance and Regulation: Ensure the business unit complies with all industry regulations policies and procedures and stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the BFSI sector.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders addressing their needs and concerns.
• Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the business unit's performance regularly reporting to senior management.
• Technology Adoption: Stay current with technological advancements in the BFSI sector and assess their relevance to the business unit's operations.
