Job summary

Agthia Group PJSC seeks a Product Development Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead the R&D team and drive the company’s product development strategy from concept to commercialization.

You will build an innovation pipeline, manage NPD projects on budget and schedule, and collaborate with suppliers, co-manufacturers, and universities to sustain growth.

Minimum 8 years in beverage manufacturing with a master’s degree in food science or food technology; strong P&L awareness and market insight expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in beverage manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Strong background in beverage manufacturing operations and product development.
• Master's degree in food science or food technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the roadmap for New Product Development (NPD).
• Collaborate with BU-led managers to fully develop NPD business plans and launch new products to market.
• Identify market trends and emerging ingredients to drive product innovation.
• Manage the product development pipeline, ensuring projects meet timelines and budgets.
• Monitor competitor products and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Mentor and coach the R&D team and support individual growth plans.
• Prepare and present inputs related to budgets and manage overall financial performance of development projects.
