Job summary

FTI Consulting seeks a Benefits Manager to drive the Employee Benefits strategy across the Middle East, South Africa, Nordics, Belgium and the Netherlands from Dubai. You will lead benefit programmes, manage health, wellbeing, lifestyle, risk and pension offerings, and partner with local brokers to support multi-country rollout and ongoing administration.

The role reports to the EMEA Benefits Director and spans a dynamic fast-growing region.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree or equivalent combination of experience.
  • Demonstrable employee benefits and pension knowledge in ME/EMEA.
  • Experience with benefits portals and project implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all benefit matters in defined client countries, benchmarking and renewals.
  • Support in-country benefit and pension projects including onboarding and off-boarding.
  • Drive implementation of benefit management software (Darwin) in new territories.
  • Own and develop Dubai Benefit portal and communications.
  • Collaborate with HR, payroll, finance and tax teams for delivery of benefits.
  • Ensure global benefits strategy is followed in each country.
  • Design and deliver upskilling, communications collateral and training.
  • Respond to benefits questions promptly and efficiently.
  • Contribute to broader HR benefit initiatives like health and wellbeing.

About the Role

This new Employee Benefits Manager role (based in Dubai) will play a key role in the continuing development and delivery of FTI’s Employee Benefits strategy across Middle East, South Africa, Nordics, Belgium and Netherlands at a time of exciting growth and expansion into new countries. A key member of the London based EMEA Benefit Team, reporting directly into the EMEA Benefits Director, you will be benefit lead across the health, wellbeing, lifestyle, risk and pension offering to employees. In a region that spans 20 offices in 17 countries, this is a fast paced role offering real variety as well as a genuine opportunity to impact and support FTI’s wider objective of attracting, retaining and engaging the best talent.

It’s an exciting time to join the team with a number of high priority projects including the roll out of benefit platforms, set up in new countries, and a continuing build out of the benefit offering.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead all benefit matters in defined client countries, working with external local brokers and providers, and successfully manage current benefits programmes for these countries (incl ME DEWS and GCC nationals), benchmarking, renewals, internal processes, data oversight and associated communications.
  • Lead and/or support a variety of in country and region-wide benefit and pension projects including implementation of new benefits to specific countries, benefit harmonisation exercises, automation of benefit enrolments / onboarding and exits / off-boarding.
  • Drive implementation of benefit management software (Darwin) in new territories (Saudi).
  • Own and develop the Dubai Benefit portal, including the annual enrolment window and all associated employee facing communications.
  • Partner effectively with the HR Service Centre, local HR Business Partners, payroll, international mobility, internal communications, finance and tax teams to ensure effective delivery of the benefits programmes across client group.
  • Ensure the global benefits strategy is maintained and complied with in each country, and manage local expectations and aspirations appropriately.
  • Design, build, communicate and deliver upskilling initiatives, communications collateral and training to ensure consistent knowledge and processes across the region.
  • Point of contact for benefits questions, ensuring they are all answered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Contribute to broader HR benefit initiatives, such as health and wellbeing, governance etc.

Qualifications
  • Graduate degree or equivalent combination of experience and qualification
Experience
  • Demonstrable employee benefits and pension knowledge and experience in ME, and ideally, though not essentially, across EMEA, within fast moving corporate/professional services environments
  • Experience of supporting flexible benefits portals (experience of Darwin is beneficial)
  • Management of benefit implementation projects – including project planning, employee communication and building supporting processes
