Job summary

ENNISMORE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Bellman/Porter to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, and escort guests to rooms while highlighting hotel services and amenities.

You will provide accurate information on restaurant options, pools, spa activities, and local attractions, and help coordinate transport and VIP services in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bell position preferred.
• Experience in a luxury hotel is an advantage.
• Excellent spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests on arrival and departure with warmth and professionalism.
• Assist guests with loading, unloading, and transporting luggage as required.
• Escort guests to rooms and explain facilities and hotel amenities.
• Provide accurate information about restaurants, pools, spa, and other facilities.
• Assist with transportation arrangements including taxis and airport transfers.
• Deliver messages, packages, and luggage to guest rooms promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure
• Assist guests with loading unloading and transporting luggage
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain room facilities services and hotel amenities
• Provide accurate information about the hotel restaurants pools spa activities and other facilities
• Assist guests with transportation arrangements taxis and airport transfers when required
• Deliver luggage messages packages and other items to guest rooms promptly
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel entrance lobby bell desk and luggage storage areas
• Assist guests with valet parking procedures where applicable
• Handle guest requests professionally and follow up to ensure satisfaction
• Coordinate closely with Front Office Concierge Housekeeping and other departments
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel services operating hours and local attractions
• Handle guest belongings carefully and follow proper procedures for lost and found items
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with the hotel s grooming and uniform standards
• Provide personalized service to VIP guests and support special occasions when required
• Promote hotel facilities activities and services when appropriate
• Report maintenance issues guest concerns or safety hazards to the relevant department
• Follow all hotel policies health and safety procedures and security standards

Previous experience as a Bellman, Bellboy, Porter, Concierge Assistant, or in a similar hotel position is preferred. Experience in a 5-star or luxury resort is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage. Friendly, confident, and guest-oriented personality. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced resort environment. Physically fit and able to handle guest luggage. Strong teamwork and customer-service skills. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
