Job summary

Amana Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Technician to deliver safe, evidence‑based behavior therapy services using Positive Behavior Support Plans. You will contribute to data collection, outcomes tracking, and treatment planning under supervision in a leading long‑term care and rehabilitation setting in Abu Dhabi.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Diploma in a behavioral field, 2+ years post‑qualification experience, RBT certification with valid BLS, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, ABA, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in behavioral therapy, mental health or rehabilitation.
  • RBT certification from BACB or international equivalent with valid BLS.
  • Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support assessment of individuals through observations, data collection, questionnaires and progress tracking under supervision.
  • Implement evidence‑based behavioral intervention plans and strategies for behavioral and mental health needs.
  • Collect, maintain and submit accurate clinical data to evaluate progress and support planning.
  • Collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to deliver person‑centered care.
  • Monitor patient conditions, identify concerns, and escalate safety issues as needed.
  • Document all clinical activities and outcomes per policy and regulatory standards.
  • Promote patient rights, dignity, quality of life and culturally sensitive care.

  • Implement evidence-based behavioral intervention plans and therapeutic strategies to support individuals with behavioral and mental health needs.Collect, maintain, and submit accurate clinical data to evaluate patient progress and support treatment planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, person-centered care and achieve rehabilitation goals.
  • Monitor patient conditions, identify concerns or deterioration, and escalated issues appropriately to ensure safety and continuity of care.
  • Document all clinical activities, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with organizational policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote patient rights, dignity, quality of life, and culturally sensitive care while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, professional development, staff education, and organizational initiatives that enhance service quality and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in behavioral therapy, mental health, rehabilitation, or a related clinical setting.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from BACB or an internationally recognized equivalent, with valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions, with the ability to apply current research into clinical practice and support patient outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, teaching, and mentoring skills, with proficiency in computer applications and fluency in written and spoken English
