Position Objective

The Beauty Advisor is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while achieving sales targets and representing the beauty brand professionally. The role involves providing personalized beauty consultations, recommending suitable skincare and makeup products, demonstrating products, and building strong customer relationships.

The Beauty Advisor will also support daily store operations, product merchandising, promotional activities, and visual presentation standards while maintaining excellent product knowledge and brand representation.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional, and personalized beauty consultations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable skincare, makeup, and beauty products.
• Provide skincare advice, makeup guidance, product demonstrations, and application support.
• Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat visits and purchases.
• Convert potential customers into buyers through effective communication and product recommendations.
• Promote relevant products and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
• Recommend complementary products from the brand and other group brands where appropriate.
• Encourage customers to join the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to support customer retention and repeat sales.
• Deliver a positive and engaging shopping experience that reflects the brand's service standards.

Product Knowledge & Brand Representation

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cosmetics, skincare products, ingredients, beauty trends, and new product launches.
• Develop a strong understanding of the brand's products, heritage, values, and positioning.
• Clearly communicate product features, benefits, usage instructions, and suitable applications to customers.
• Demonstrate makeup and skincare products professionally to help customers understand their benefits.
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Represent the brand positively and consistently throughout every customer interaction.

Store Operations

• Support store opening and closing activities according to company procedures.
• Assist with stock management, inventory checks, and product replenishment.
• Ensure shelves and displays are properly organized, clean, and well presented.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines.
• Support promotional campaigns, product launches, in-store events, and other marketing activities.
• Process payments, returns, and customer requests in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalated issues when required.
• Follow all relevant health, safety, hygiene, and product-handling procedures.

Sales Targets & KPIs

• Achieve or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
• Monitor key sales indicators such as conversion rate, average transaction value, and customer satisfaction.
• Support the team in achieving collective sales and performance objectives.
• Maintain a results-oriented approach while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Use customer feedback and sales insights to improve product recommendations and customer engagement.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, fashion, or retail sales is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetics, skincare products, and current beauty trends.
• Practical experience with makeup or skincare product application is an advantage.
