Job summary

Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a Bartender to join our front-of-house team. You will create warm welcomes, prepare and serve drinks to a high standard, and collaborate with restaurant colleagues to deliver seamless dining experiences.

You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, have solid basic math and writing skills, be flexible for night, weekend and holiday shifts, and fluent in the local language with knowledge of alcohol-service regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Good reading, writing and basic maths.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Compliance with local laws on alcohol service and fluency in the local language.
• Excellent communication and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm welcome for every guest and set the tone for their experience.
• Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard and highlight promotions.
• Own the bar by managing stock, inventory and equipment and keep the space clean.
• Handle cash and card transactions.
• Work closely with restaurant colleagues to deliver a seamless food service.
