Job summary

25hours Hotel One Central in Dubai is seeking an experienced Bartender to deliver bespoke bar service, upsell and create memorable guest experiences in a luxury setting.

You should have 3-4 years in a 5‑star hotel or upscale bar, strong knowledge of beverages, POS experience, and a team‑player attitude; English proficiency is essential. You will uphold hygiene and safety, handle cash and guest requests with poise.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience as a bartender in a 5‑star hotel, upscale bar, or high‑end restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service standards.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and managing guest requests professionally.
• Friendly, confident personality and good interaction with guests and colleagues.
• Reliable, organized, and able to keep service standards during busy periods.
• Team player with hands‑on mentality and positive attitude.
• Good knowledge of bar hygiene, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with colleagues and support team goals.

• Prepare cocktails and drinks per recipes, manage transactions and registrations.
• Ensure accurate expiration checks and proper storage of garnishes.
• Serve responsibly following company policy and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

How does your working day look like …

• Identify and meet guests' needs, provide appropriate bar services and assist guests in recommendations, upselling where appropriate in order to provide knowledgeable and bespoke service.
• Complete day-to-day activities by following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environment procedures, instructions and controls so that Company provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
• Comply with quality expectations and standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals.
• Maintain efficient workflow by adhering to the sequence of service and standards detailed in relevant F&B Standards Manual.
• Serve beverages according to defined standards and measures (according to local license agreements).
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes.
• Ensure all drinks transactions are processed, registered and settled.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Setup the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately.
• Undertake opening, closing & cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists.
• Coordinate with stewards to ensure equipment and bar area are kept hygienically clean and tidy at all times and sufficient glassware is available.
• Ensure the checking of expiration dates and that all perishable garnishes are stored and recorded in designated storage area.
• Adopt a responsible attitude towards serving of alcoholic beverages, to ensure safe consumption in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by management.

• You have strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service standards.

• You have experience with POS systems, cash handling, and managing guest requests and complaints professionally.
• You have a friendly, confident personality and enjoy interacting with guests and colleagues.

• You are a true team player with a hands-on mentality and a positive attitude.
• You have good knowledge of bar hygiene, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service.
• You communicate confidently in English.
