Job summary

Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team on site in Abu Dhabi. You will prepare and serve a wide range of drinks, interact with guests, and ensure the bar is well stocked and welcoming. A Cash handling role with POS system experience is part of the daily routine.

Two years of F&B experience and a basic education pass are preferred. Night, weekend and holiday shifts are part of the job, with opportunities to grow in a vibrant Yas Island environment.

About the Job

A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. This role involves interacting with guests, taking orders, mixing drinks, and ensuring a clean and well-stocked bar.

About You

• You’ll know how to prepare a wide range of drinks. Ideally with formal bartending training. Proven F & B experience for a minimum of two years
• Compliant – meeting local laws on food handling and serving alcohol
• A great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to.
• You’ll be on your feet most of the day with lots of bending and kneeling.
• Sometimes you’ll need to lift, push, and pull big objects like barrels and crates up to 50lbs (23 kg).
• You’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing basic math, and computer knowledge.
• Flexible – night, weekend, and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
• Hands‑on experience with cash register and ordering information system.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast‑paced environment.
• Preferably diploma, high school, or certificate holder.
