Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Barista for Noor Lounge to deliver exceptional coffee and beverage experiences in a luxury setting. You will engage guests, prepare a range of coffees, teas and non-alcoholic drinks, and maintain impeccable cleanliness and mise en place.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of bar experience in luxury hotels, fluent English and Arabic, and a passion for guest service. The role involves long hours and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• High School qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management preferred.

Aufgaben

• Have a good understanding of the outlet’s concept and offerings and explain them to guests.
• Mix and match ingredients to offer creative non-alcoholic drinks, coffee and teas and garnish drinks per standards.
• Interact with guests and recommend suitable drinks.
• Handle customer complaints and report to managers.
• Set up daily bar counter and ensure mise en place and equipment are prepared.
• Ensure beverages, such as coffee and teas, are served in good order.
• Assist in creating new blended drinks for promotions and menus.
• Check inventory daily before shifts and assist in monthly inventories.
