Job summary

The Lana - Dorchester Collection in Dubai is hiring a Barista to manage the day-to-day beverage operations of the F&B outlet and deliver the best guest experience.

You will help create and maintain the hotel’s beverage menu with a focus on coffee, tea and artisanal drinks, while training the restaurant team to elevate coffee knowledge and latte art. This role offers growth within a world-class luxury hospitality brand.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the day-to-day beverage operations of the F&B outlet to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• Beverages are your passion; assist with creating and maintaining the beverage menu for the hotel, focusing on hot beverages including coffees and teas.
• Train and mentor the entire restaurant team with a focus on coffee, ensuring knowledge is second to none.
• Design and curate the hotel's bespoke beverage menus with a master focus on specialty coffees, rare teas, and infusions.
• Stay ahead of global coffee trends, innovating with brewing methods and bean origins to keep the program at the pinnacle of hospitality.
• Lead training and mentorship of the service team, elevating coffee knowledge and latte art skills.
• Lead daily pre-service briefings to stay aligned with guest arrivals and bespoke services.
• Collaborate with supporting departments to ensure immaculate presentation and maintenance of your area.
• Guarantee an uncompromising standard of beverage preparation, presentation and quality control.
• Ensure high-quality beverage preparation, presentation and inventory control in collaboration with the service team.

• You are an expert on global coffee trends, continuously innovating with unique brewing methods and bean origins to ensure our program remains at the absolute pinnacle of international hospitality.
• You will lead the training and mentorship of the entire service team, elevating their coffee knowledge and latte art skills to a level that is second to none.
• By leading and engaging in daily pre-service briefings, you stay fully aligned with the guests' arrivals and upcoming bespoke services.
• You seamlessly collaborate with supporting departments to ensure the immaculate presentation and flawless maintenance of your area.
• In partnership with your service colleagues, you guarantee an uncompromising standard of beverage preparation, sophisticated presentation, and quality control.
• In collaboration with your service team, you ensure fantastic quality of beverage preparation, presentation and beverage inventory control.
