Job summary

Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai is seeking an Assistant Manager - Bar to lead the bar team, maintain high beverage standards and deliver engaging guest experiences. You will supervise daily operations, coach staff and help craft memorable moments for guests.

This role requires strong knowledge of cocktails and beverages, excellent communication and leadership, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays in a vibrant Dubai hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or assistant management experience in a busy bar, restaurant or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and beverage trends.
• Excellent communication, leadership and guest-service skills.
• Creative, confident and hands-on approach.
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bar Manager in managing the day-to-day bar operation.
• Lead, coach and motivate the bar team to deliver outstanding service.
• Ensure consistent quality in cocktails, beverages, presentation and service standards.
• Create a welcoming and lively atmosphere for guests.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training and performance development.
• Monitor stock levels, wastage, ordering and beverage costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and licensing requirements.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve concerns promptly.
• Support menu development, promotions and creative beverage concepts.
• Drive revenue through upselling, product knowledge and memorable guest experiences.
• Maintain strong communication with Food & Beverage and other hotel departments.
