Job summary

Salt is seeking multiple Data Engineers with Retail, SME and Corporate Banking experience to build data products and support analytics initiatives. You will work on data marts, data modelling and customer 360 views, aligning with ML/AI use cases while migrating to Amazon Redshift.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SQL, Python, and experience with banking datasets, including transactions and customer data. This is a 1-year contract anchored in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with opportunities to extend.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering in a banking domain environment.
• Experience with data marts, warehousing and data modelling.
• Proficient in SQL development and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop data marts, stored procedures and scheduled ETL workflows.
• Design data models and customer 360 views for analytics, ML and AI.
• Build reusable data products using banking datasets.
• Support migration from Microsoft databases to Amazon Redshift.
• Demonstrate data architecture and advanced data modelling capabilities.
