Back Order & Fill Management Supervisor

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Job Purpose: The Supervisor oversees the order fulfillment process, ensuring consistent achievement of the target fill rate and efficient management of back‑order lines through data analysis and cross‑functional coordination.

Principal Accountabilities

• Lead the back‑order team
• Maintain a high system fill rate ensuring the right part is available at the right time
• Monitor and manage back orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and communication with various teams
• Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize back orders and improve order fulfillment rates
• Coordinate with Inventory Control to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock availability
• Work closely with customer service and warehouse teams to resolve order‑related issues
• Prepare and maintain reports on order status and fulfillment performance
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
• Identify areas for improvement in the order fulfillment process and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the fulfillment process
• Train and guide team members on SOPs and best practices

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in order fulfillment, inventory management, or supply chain management in the automotive industry

Education

• Engineering (Automotive/Mechanical). Additional education in supply chain management is a plus.

• Proficiency in SAP or other inventory management software and systems
