Job summary

Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced B2 Aircraft Engineer for Line Maintenance. You will certify maintenance work, lead Technicians, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Role requires 7–10 years in aircraft maintenance with at least 5 years certifying in Line Maintenance and 3 years certifying on Etihad aircraft ratings. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to maintain safety and high-quality operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA / EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type convertible to GCAA).
• Minimum of 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• At least 5 years of certifying experience in a Line Maintenance environment.
• 3 years certifying on at least 2Etihad aircraft type ratings (A320/ A330/ A350/ A380; B777/ B787) with authorization.
• Excellent communication skills and a teamwork mindset with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Certify own work and the work of others after verifying tasks are performed per approved data.
• Complete all documentation accurately and on time, per procedures.
• Carry out maintenance in compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation at shift start.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment to prevent FOD.
• Provide guidance to Technicians to ensure safe and effective working practices.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained as safe and serviceable.
• Demonstrate a professional approach when interacting with colleagues and customers.
• Participate in training to enhance technical capability.
• Adhere to SQMM procedures and promote a safety culture.
