Job summary

ICONNECT IT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS DMCC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Cloud Security Specialist to implement and manage security controls across Microsoft Azure environments, protecting workloads, identities, endpoints and data with Azure security services.

The role covers security operations, threat detection, monitoring and compliance across hybrid and cloud environments, collaborating with SOC teams to integrate Defender for Cloud, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune and Purview.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of cloud security experience.
• Strong hands-on with Azure security services and cloud security operations.
• Experience with Defender suite and Purview.
• Knowledge of Azure security architecture, Entra ID, RBAC and CA.
• Experience in threat detection, incident response, monitoring and posture mgmt.
• Azure security certifications required (CCSP / AZ-500).

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Azure security controls, policies and best practices.
• Configure and operate Defender solutions including Defender for Cloud, XDR, Sentinel, Intune and Purview.
• Manage security monitoring, incident investigation, analytics rules, workbooks and response.
• Apply identity and access security controls using Entra ID, RBAC and Conditional Access.
• Support security audits, compliance reviews, and maintain cloud security docs.
• Integrate Azure security with SOC operations and incident response workflows.
