Job summary

ITHR Technologies Consulting LLC in Dubai seeks a Cloud Security & SIEM Engineer to secure cloud environments, integrate telemetry with SIEM, and lead incident response in a fast-paced SOC. The candidate will work with AWS, Azure, or GCP, applying cloud security controls and optimizing cloud-native logging and SIEM integrations.

The role requires hands-on cloud and SIEM expertise, plus automation and a proactive security posture to monitor, detect, and respond to threats within cloud and hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–8 years of cybersecurity/SOC experience.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience integrating cloud logs into a SIEM via connectors/APIs/agents.
• Knowledge of IAM, MFA, RBAC and least privilege.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP; apply cloud security controls in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Implement RBAC, least-privilege access, and monitor privileged accounts.
• Secure cloud networks including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and firewalls.
• Integrate cloud telemetry with SIEM platforms and maintain detection rules and dashboards.
• Configure and monitor cloud logging services (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Azure Monitor).
• Lead incident detection, investigation, containment, and remediation in SOC.
• Develop security automation using Python/PowerShell/Bash and IaC templates (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep).
• Support compliance efforts and maintain audit-ready cloud security documentation.
