Job summary

D.A. Davidson Companies is seeking an Azure-focused DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure using IaC. You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, design Azure networking architectures, and implement robust security, monitoring, and cost governance.

The role requires 3–5+ years of Azure experience, IaC expertise (Terraform/Bicep), and strong scripting skills. Hybrid or remote work arrangements are not specified; prefer candidates with a strong foundation in

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or Bicep).
• Experience designing Azure networking architectures.
• CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Container experience (Docker required; AKS preferred).
• Cloud security controls implementation experience.
• Automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Four-year college degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage Azure networking, including Virtual WAN, VNets, peering, Route Server, private endpoints, DNS, load balancing, and gateways.
• Implement identity, access control, and privilege management using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Design and operate secure storage solutions.
• Implement secrets, key, and certificate management using Azure Key Vault.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Operate and support Azure compute and platform services.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Apply cloud security best practices, governance standards, and compliance controls.
• Support cost optimization, capacity planning, and resource lifecycle management.
